Greetings ~
I have a Nortel Opt 11C running Succession 4.0 and I need to setup a 2 way HANDSFREE voice call. I setup two sets with the Hot D feature. I programmed as key 11 with HOT D 4 1009 1007 MARP V 0 and the other set with key 11 HOT D 4 1007 1009 MARP V 0. When I place the call on hotline key; my voice is live on that set, however that set needs to pickup the handset or press the HF key to initiate a 2 way conversation. Is there a way to have this setup without having to press a HF key?
Thanks,

Mr Clean

You need to turn on Automatic Answer Back (AAA) in the CLS. You should not need Hot D the Voice Call key should do the trick.

Hawks ~ I appreciate the reply. However, setting the AAA will effect all incomming calls to this set. We're looking for the 2 way voice-call only on a as needed basis.

Thanks

Sorry try this it works.

REQ CHG Change.

TYPE aaaa Telephone type

TN l s c u

KEY xx SCR yyy...y Adds a single appearance single call key on the terminating telephone, where: xx = key number, and yyy...y = the DN assigned to the Voice Call key for the originating telephone.

KEY xx VCC yyy...y Adds a Voice Call key on the originating telephone, where: xx = key number, and
yyy...y = the DN of the terminating telephone.

This key activates the feature.

When the Voice call key is used the other other side will Auto Answer as long as HVA is allowed in the CDB.

That's exactly where I missed it. HVA in CDB was the ticket... Works Great!

Thanks for the replies,

Mr. Clean
