IS-IT--Management
Hi All,
Good problem for people to ponder over the easter break!
We have a Proxy server running ISA.
We have a standard leased line WAN network and an additional ADSL network overlaid so we can split services over the 2 to balance them out. There is a firewall on the remote ends of the ADSL routes and of course it goes through the firewall when it hits our main site.
We have 2 interfaces on the ISA.
Basically all the sites on the fixed lines are fine and can get onto https sites, any site/user using the ADSL line for the web traffic cannot access the sites. We setup a second proxy server and i got the adsl users to try this and they were fine. So we switched the ip address over on the new to the one one - guessing it would be seamless and SAME PROBLEM. Normal sites fine SSL's no go, just get page cannot be displayed after 5 mins.
My coleague thinks its a error with the proxy, as so do i as we have had it working over the adsl and the firewall doesnt block any protocols either between the sites. But unsure what to try? the adsl sites access the proxy through the external interface while the Basic Wan sites access it through the internal, so that could be part of the problem and maybe something wrong/not configured on that adapter?
Being new to ISA not sure what to try/check - Help
