I am trying to put together a video of my wedding for my wife on our 5th anniversary. The problem is I have two videos filmed from 2 different angles. The 2nd video doesnt include the whole wedding just certain parts but has a better view. Is there an easy way to sync the audio in the two clips since they are of the same thing.

You will have to sync by hand.

Lay down the complete track from one camera and put clips from the second camera on a higher track in approximate sync.

Identify the same event (audio or visual ) in both tracks for each pair of clips and set a clip marker in each.

Align the clip markers on the timeline and play back to listen to the audio. If there is an echo, they aren't in sync. Adjust a frame or so at a time until the echo disappears. Adjust one of the markers to allow easy return if the position is inadvertently changed later.

Turn off the less good audio track.

Now go through and decide section by section which camera you wish to see. Either put camera2 on a superimpose track and use the opacity sliders, or use the direct transition on V1.

Fine tune as required. You can cross fade rather than cut using the opacity sliders with additional control points, for which the fade scissor tool is very useful. Or you can add cross fade transitions to the ends of the direct transition segments if using V1.

If you have the budget, you might want to investigate MultiCam instead of doing it the manual way described above.

It is a plugin that helps you to edit multi-camera material. Try a search engine!

Do you know if there is a demo version of the plugin or a place I could find it. I would like to use it before I spend the big bucks on it. Thanks.
