Hi,
Run into problem ...
There is a local network and some ISP and Win NT server.
Workstations runs win 98 and at network settings there are two TCP/IP's
bounded to one NIC.
Both have different IP's.
While trying to install similar setup to Win ME - I fail.
In win ME I can add second TCP but it is bound to <nothing>. I can give a
second TCP a IP number but while exiting settings and restarting network
panel - the second TCP has gone ...
I can go to NIC properties and bind second TCP/IP to this NIC but it's gone
at next dialog opening.
The procedure described above works well with win 98.
I changed the NIC to another brand and drivers, (Cnet to Toplink ...). No
help.
It looks much like a Win ME bug or then just MS has removed this multiple
TCP/IP capability roughly to make us to buy some more expensive w2k into
every workstation.
Any hints, did I missed something?
