is it possible to set up 2 windows 2000 servers. My idea is that i would like in the event of failure to 1 server have the other server kick in and be able to take over and vice versa?

What steps would i need to take?

Thanks
Simon

Yes this is called clustering. It requires special hardware and cluster set knowledge.

Short of full clustering, you can use Network Load Balancing for some applications (a web server, for example).

You will need to provide more details of exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
