I have a new install w/ 2 PRIs. I usually add my B channels to group 1 for the PRI. I have not had 2 PRIs before, do I have to add the B channels for the second to group 2? It will not allow me to add them to group 1 after I already have the first PRI programmed.

Thanks!

As soon as you set the switch type, if you are connected, then the B-Channel group information should have automatically switched from 1 to 80, and then the second group should have gone to 1 again. If this did not happen, using group 2 for the second PRI should work fine.

I may be incorrect, but doesn't it put the B's in group 80 only if you are networking PBX's? Just trying to remember.

I've seen them pop to group 80 on a Telco PRI.... AFTER it links up.

They are automatically set to 80 when networking is chosen.
