2 phones with 1 extension number

You guys have been great, i've learned great deal from this forum, i'm taking classes at global next month. But in meantime can someone help me with this.

I 've a handicap user in a wheel chair, we'd like to have 2 phones (m3903)in his office one at each end.

He'll have 2 TNB and 1 dnb (exntension), how do i do this?

Just programme the two TN's with the same SCR. Make sure you have MARP activated. Make one of them the MARP and you should be OK. The MARP is a definition you make about which phone is the handler for call forwarding. Two sets can't forward the same number.

if you get an error programming the second set, try to programme it with a vacant DID, and afterwards chg it to the same DID as first TN.

Better, you can use MCR xxxx in both TN´s, because when one extension SCR is busy, the other phone with the SCR key can´t make calls.

i didn't see your switch type or size, if you turn on marp, it is switch wide, unless you are comfortable with the switch, you might not want to start with system wide params, it will effect every phone, it only takes a few minutes per station to fix any problems of that nature, but it can be hard to explain
