2 name servers on AIX 5.2

Hi ! .. .i'm trying to configure 2 name servers in my aix...
one is for the internet domains... and the other ... is for the local resolution...
when i put 1st in the list the internet name server and 2nd the local... the resolution of the local address does not work... but the internet addresses work perfect... and when i put 1st in the list the local nameserver... internet addresses stop working ..

the resolv.conf shows

nameserver localnameserverip
nameserver internetnameserverip

any ideas to make this work ????
