yes, its all down to your VRID.
For example, on Checkpoint Firewalls, the last octect of the VRRP virtual Mac address is a calculation of the VRID.
I.E
VRID 200
Virtual Mac is 00:00:5e:00:01:c8
C8 in hex is 200
So if you have two different vrrp groups on the same L2 networks, and they have the Same VRID, then this can distrupt your communications (i.E they wont work ).
