2 domains with a trust but cant add.......

Please help.

I have 2 domains with a trust between them and i'm trying to make the administrators of each domain a member of their respective domain admins group but when i try i cant see the other domain in members/add/location bit..however i do see it in member of/add.... but then it wont let me add it when i select it..

u can't add remote domain adminsitator into the other domain global group(which is domain admin group), u can only add remote domain adminstrator into target domain local adminsitators group, that's by design. so, if ur trust is validated ok, then add to local administators group
