I have two Consoles.
Each answers for a particular set of CO lines (they happen to be on seperate floors).
How can I get all the calls from 1 to go to 2 on an "on-demand" situation?

thank you
Jim

I can make it happen if one acts as primary and one as backup but if you need it to flow both ways I'm not certain.

I am going to assume that you are using extension assignments to route the different trunks to each console through the incoming destination field on the trunk form. If you assign the primary trunk incoming destination as 'attd' and give both consoles a pos-busy button then the second console can jump in and answer calls routed to the first by simply turning off and on the pos-busy. If they are working together they can both stay in or if the first is off to lunch they can use their pos-busy.

Another option if only one attendant is going to be staffed at a time is to use the Night Service feature by assigning the night service destination to each trunk group. Then attd1 hits night service and all calls for their trunk group are forwarded to attd2 and vice versa. To do this just 'cha tru x' insert the assigned attd extension according to primary and secondary on each trunk and verify/assign night service buttons to each console.

Thanks.
Unfortuantely I did not mention that both trunks go to vectors for Auto Attendant features. If caller waits xx seconds or dial zero they go to appropriate attendant.
If I make a new vdn/vec for night service that changes the zero out destination I still don't get to where I want t o be. Your suggestion is good and I am trying to use the night service option.
I am confused by the pos-busy option. we have never used it but occassionaly the buton gets pushed and all hell breaks loose. because we don't use I don't know how to use it.

Thanks for responding. I appreciate the insight.
Jim
