Hello all!
I am having a bit of trouble setting this up so I thought I'd see if anyone here can help.
I have a Cisco 1801 router with the webVPN software installed (this came as default on the router by the way). I have followed all the instructions from the wizards and have setup the majority of the VPN. I am as far as the following:
1. User enters IP address of the router(outside)
2. Router replies by installing cache cleaning software
3. After installation, Router passes user to login page
4. User logins in with username/password
5. Router presents user with VPN homepage (URL's, Server bowsing, etc)
This is where I hit a problem. When the user clicks a website, the router replies with the following message:
"Unable to connect to server .
The server may not exist, or access to it may not be allowed."
I have looked through all the ACL's on the router but cannot seem to find anything stopping it from getting out onto the Internet. In case your woundering, any clients on the LAN connected to the router can use the Internet although again they cannot through the webVPN.
I have tried searching Cisco's website but it seems the 1801 only has a limited version of the software that Cisco places on it's VPN Concentrators, so I understand it may not do some advanced things but web browsing isnt advanced!!
Hopefully someone can help me out with this (and it will be GREATLY appreciated
)
Thanks
Steve
