We hav an HP LJ III that once in a while the error message will come up on it and say '18 cold reset'. I understand that is something we can do while pressing online and powering up at same time to reset to factory settings, but this error message comes up all on its own from time to time. I checked every site I could think of to find clues to the problem, but all the results just say HOW to do a cold reset.....
Anybody here ever have this problem? Sometimes, I can just leave it off for 5 10 minutes and it comes up ok...sometimes not.....
I put it here only bec it is attached to a win 98 box, but the problem is box independent, so....... I hope someone can help me figure out why this message keeps popping up from time to time.....
