I currently have a Cisco 1720 and a T1. We are moving and I will be getting another T1 for a total of 2. My question is, can i put another T1 WIC into the available slot of the 1720 and use it with 2 T1's (I want the full 3mgs, not a backup or fail-over line) or do I need another router, say something in the 2600 series?
Thanks in advance.

Your 1720 router will do just fine. Just make sure then you properly configure it to do the load-balancing over the two lines, whehter it be per-packet (more overhead on ROuter's CPU) or per-destination (you will get less from your 3megs). Or if you will be using PPP, you can go with PPP-Multilink.
