I have a 1605-R router that i am using as a gateway between my comapny's private network and the DSL line to the internet. I am trying to get VPN going through the router to a Microsoft win2k server setup for RAS. I have setup NAT for port 1723 to the RAS server. I have also setup port 47 using NAT, but through research i have learned that you really need protocol 47 (GRE) enabled for PPTP. Using Ethereal on the RAS server, i can see the remote PC trying to connect to the server. On the remote PC side, i get an error saying that the server is not responding.

So it is my guess that GRE is not setup on my router. does anyone know how this is done? Thank you for any help and guidance.
