Just installed SP3 on a 2000 Terminal Server, and now 16-bit applications are failing to run (runtime errors, etc). I think I've seen a patch or a registry tweak of some sort for this in the past, but can't remember where - Anyone have an idea?
They were. Unfortunately, we need SP3 for compatibility with another app.. Oh well, software vendor is working on the problem now. Hopefully they'll come up with something.
Listen to Dmasch. There's a growing number of us that don't like sp3. When something works, don't break it. 16 bit apps are hard enough to make work on W2K, if it was working, go back to the drawing board with sp2. Glen A. Johnson
