11c Card type help

Hi.

I want to install a card in our 11c that will interface
with an Astirisk Digium or Samgoma T1/E1/J1 card.

I am trying to experiment with an Asterisk System, I want
to be able to send SIP or IAX calls from the Asterisk
server to the Meridian and from the Meridian to SIP
extinsions on the Asterisk. There are good deals on e-bay
but I want to get the correct card. There are RRI Line and Trunk cards with and without clocking.

The 11c allready has an 2E card installed for the BT Incomming line. The Asterisk box will be installed
at the end of the chain.

This is one post I found..

Could I just start with analouge ports off a ALC and interface then with a TDM400p, I have one on order.

I would get our Vendor to install any cards in the Meridian
and do the initial config of the Meridian.

Any Tips appreciated...

the t1 interface will work on the tmdi, not the analog.. if the j1 interface on Astirisk Digium or Samgoma is analog you could use an analog trunk card for that port..
