101-I/O ROM Error - Any Solutions?

Has anyone ever come across a 101-I/O ROM Error when booting a COMPAQ DESKPRO 5133??

Any ideas on what could be causing it?

That means, replace the ROM or Motherboard.
You may have heard a short and 2 long beeps.
Get the ROM-Flash for your BIOS and flash it, with a bit of luck ...
