Hi,

I am not sure if this is the correct forum or the Nice forum. I basically have Nice trunk side loggers and want to record internal calls. I have the pbx side setup and the calls work fine but for some reason only 1 side of the conversation is recorded. Can anyone suggest why?

Thanks.

yes both the phones being used for testing are avaya 96xx phones. Although I have tested from a tdm to a voip phone with the same problem.

If it is a trunk side Y tap, it would only record calls routed via that trunk. To record VOIP, you need a VOIP recording solution. I don't know much about it, but I believe it needs to tap the medpro resource to record the call.

Thanks,

We have 1 ds1 connected to the incoming part of the logger and another connected the outgoing therefore creating a loop. So we have 2 trunks, 1 for the outgoing calls and 1 for incoming calls.

All the calls we need to record are routed via these 2 trunks so I dont think the voip part should matter, or am I missing something? I appreciate your help.

Cheers,

I would think that would work as well. Perhaps it's an issue with the tap or the logger...
