Whenever I boot my machine, it gives me a 0x0000007b stop error after completing the POST. I just installed a new motherboard and processor: Abit KD7A & AMD Athlon XP 2500, and it didnt do this before I installed them. Can anyone help?

Stop 0x0000007B or INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
WinXP can not locate the system partition or boot volume. This error may occur after repartition or upgrading of the disk controller. The boot.ini file may no longer point to the correct partitions or the hardware may not be configured properly
Try the Recovery Console and use the Boofdfg command to repair the Boot.ini file.
Boot from WindowsXP CD and "Repair" the Windows.

XP cannot boot because your new motherboard uses different hardware than your old motherboard, and the drivers that are installed are not compatible. See:
One way or the other you need to force XP to update the underlying hardware drivers for your new system. And one way or another you are going to have to use your old motherboard temporarily to resolve the problem.

See this article for a discussion of the several ways in which this transfer to a new motherboard can be made. It is discussing Win2k, but your options and the steps required, are identical for XP:
