The route was built before thats how it was set up. At the Forward TO after F4 I get a invalaid number. It only alloows me to put in Internal Extentions.
In the documention is specfically stats use Line Redirection for call going outside the system.
if you realy have 4.1 then invoke routing..allow redirect in set programing and then u will be able to forward example 9-1-800-555-1212 and only if you ahve met the above criteria
Routing is set for route 001 use line pool A, Dest code is 9 normal and absorb length all. Redirect is set to yes but I still get in the "invalid number". I just don't want to call nortel for just a simple problem and the book says to use call redirection. But just a simple featue I think that nortel would impliment this in software rls 4.1.
If I was using 9 as an access code to a line pool it would not allow me input 9 as a destination code in routing, so routing is fine. I know there is one person out there who can get their hands on a 0x32 rls 4.1 to verify I think it does not work. Line redirection is the only way in that version software.
Went to the customer site to verify software release and like I innitially thought its a 4.0 rls. Should have done this from the start never trust the customer.
