We've recently expanded the number of lines and our old display phone which we did our programming from is no longer the switchboard phone at station 10. What other station can I plug that phone into to do system programming?
Quite odd, I do not have this feature. I am on a Merlin Legen version 7.0. I went into System Programing -> Extensions and I don't see anything about line ringing and pressing a line button just makes the phone beep obnoxiously.
Currently we have all POTS lines coming into our system. They ring at the operator, extension 10, and she then farms them out. Since we are without a receptionist for the time being I want everybody to have their phone ring. I've already programmed Direct Voicemail transfers and the like on...
Greetings,
On Friday we got notice that our receptionist will not be returning to work today, Monday. We're at a loss without somebody answering the phones and I need a way to tell the phone system to ring at everybodies desk. I tried to do primary cover on all the phones in the back; but it...
Thank you for your quick response. I entered System Programing, Extensions, LinesTrunks and then entered 10 for the extension. I was greeted with a list of line groups and an "Entry Mode" option. I believe I'd want to go to the "Entry Mode" and I tried this, entered 70 and hit DEL. It beeped...
Yet again I am coming to this group in the hopes you can help me solve our problems. Our operator is having problems transfering calls; from what I see it is from a lack of Sys-Access buttons. The person who installed the system only gave the operator 2 sys-access buttons.
Legend 7.0 w/ a...
As said above, the operator is answering the call, hitting transfer -> extension -> Camp-On. The person whose phone the call should be camped on gets another "ringing" SA button which continues to "ring" in its normal fashion prior to be dumped into voicemail.
Here is a step by step rundown...
Let me clarify;
I have extended the camp-on timer to 180 seconds. I have also programmed a camp-on button on the operator phone. She presses "Transfer -> extension -> Camp On". The phone however "rings" like it normally does for a transfer, and then goes to voicemail. Disabling voicemail on...
I have a Merlin Legend 7.0 (at least that is what is written on the box in black marker) and a Merlin Mail system. We have no phone support person; and our corporate office designed our phone programming in the most horrible fashion. We are recruiters; and thus we're always on the phone. The...
I am having this problem as well, however on my system it records a good two minutes of dialtone / operator messages. I can not find this "loop start reliable" setting. I do not have a computer hooked up to my system, and am programming from the operator extension. I have POTS lines.
Firstly, please ignore my prior post as I've answered the issue in it:
Using voice announce is great; but we're tightly packed in at our office. We use an open office bullpen layout and there are five other desks surrounding me. Is there a way we can get the voice announce to be in our...
I work in a medium size recruiting company and we recently upgraded phone systems due to a corporate takeover and we're very distressed about our phone system. We have a Merlin Legend version 7 I believe.
On our old system the operator would get a call, she could then press an extension...
I will most certainly check out the version information and keep it on hand for further questions. Is there something more simple than "removing" the coverage button? A pause, disable or suspend feature anywhere? The people I work with are all sales based, they can crunch numbers like...
I know this is a silly question for most of you advanced folks, however for me this is a puzzle. We have a Merlin 7.0 system here and I am trying to modify the functionality of it. I am not a PBX guru, nor do I even have access to the locked equiptment room with our PBX in it for more version...
