Your servers should NOT be configured to automatically adjust for daylight savings. It should be done manually each time because if it's done automatically without stopping the Nice software it can cause corruptions in the databases.

I agree, it's definitely a network issue. Either a dodgey network, too much network traffic, network not fast enough, dodgy network cabls etc etc etc
That error code is very specific in it's meaning - CLS failed to communicate with logger.
re: your first point; I'm assuming you have a cls? have you set up a username and password on the symposium. You set up the user accoutn as a desktop user. The cls then uses this account to communicate with symposium. Note: the the login details need to be entered in the cls symposium driver...
No there won't be any complications using pc anywhere to remote to the dvr. 99% of nice's remote support is done using pc anywhere. Nice recommend using pc anywhere over any other remote application as it's been tried, tested and certified on their machines.
