Copy data using LVM

That doesnt work unfortunately, just comes back blank. If I remove the space and run: lsvg | tr '\n' '' It comes back with 3 lines... But tr '\n' ' ' returns nothing Thanks John- jprabaker

backing up a LOT of little files
Perhaps some kind of incremental backup system would help? Or possibly look to archive off older files if possible? -

Hmm, well I've got my install working over NIM (reverse lookup issues I think..), but now I've found I've got NFS issues along with other problems. I can mount a filesystem from by NIM server, but it takes around 10 seconds to mount. When mounted I can't do an ls within the nfs mounted... -

I'm doing some copies over virtual ethernet and only get around 4Gb per minute, coping a 350G oracle database. This doesn't seem that fast. Anyone got it working faster? cheers, John -
VIO Server chdate timezone with daylight saving.
I logged a call with IBM. They told me to either set the MAXTZLEN variable to 256 before setting the timezone, or use the chtz command. Setting the variable didn't work....
