Yes, you can put this on a virtual server. I have two separate Nortels with its own License server and both are on virtuals. We have not had a single issue with this setup. Avaya assisted with my second setup (Succession 7.6 PBX)
Morning...i have an older Hicom 300 version 6.4. i while back we had an issue and had to power cycle the pbx. since then, when i try to dial into my system either through procomm plus or LC win, i get the following error when i try to log in: Can't obtain database information on this terminal...
On the CS1000, you need to basically do a route call. in other words, call the ACOD of the route and then send the 4 digits to an extension on the Asterisk. you have to tell the PBX where you want the call to go. i created a CDP in LD 87 to activate a DSC to route the call to our asterisk...
We experienced the same issue. there is a patch that is required to be loaded to correct this issue. SP10 fixes the SP9 issues but over course there is a patch to fix the SP10 issues. i dont remember the patch number right off hand but there is one.
We thought about it but we want to keep it as simple as possible and dont want to build 50 to possibly 100 ACD queues. We like our plan B which is to have the phone ring forever. after so many ring cycles, the hosted solution will grab the call and queue another agent. This what we preferred...
That is the answer i was and was not looking for. :-) Thank you for the prompt responses. If it wasnnt for the fact that we have to have the calls routed to each specific DID, then ACD is a simple fix for us.
That is the problem. All of the other phones are set up as ACD phones and we know how that works. This particular client wants to route the calls to a DID for each rep and have the phone setup to auto-answer or ring forever. their preference is to auto-answer. So have set up my test phones...
Is there a way to set up Autoanswer on an I2050 phone? I have turned on AAA, IRA, HFA in the CLS, set LHK and LPK to key 0. It says Auto Answer is activated but i cannot get it to Auto answer when i call the phone. Am i missing something or is this not possible on a softphone?
these are ACD agents? i have seen this one also. if they put their phone in MSB, it will fail every time. if they are IDLE or in NRDY, it will work just fine. that could be cause.
The ACD queue is just one specific queue that you have identified and the MCR is one specific phone that you have identified? You are not defaulting the the attendant. correct? that does make it challenging.
so does the caller have to enter the extension or number that they want to tranfer too? if so, i would change the transfer block to a thru dial and tranfer the calls that way.
so you don't want people to be able to dial to a phone? you just want them to go directly to voicemail? you have the ACD queue as an extension to transfer to in your transfer block? For the MCR do you have that as another transfer block? So i think you have the call going through the MENU...
that is what i found that would fix my issue. build a thru dial for each range of extensions. build one for 2 then in the left dial, enter 2 and save it. do the same for 3. this should eliminate the unable to transfer message you receive. i have not had a problem since i set that up.
My tech support helped me fix the issue. long story short, the correct fix is to create a thru dial for ext range of extensions. we use for digit dialing so i had to create one thru dial for each number. you then select fixed digits, then number of fixed digits but in the left pad, just put...
yes. i have fixed digits (4) checked. i tried it without fixed digits also. it is worse when i dont use the fixed digits. what i mean by the second attempt is this. When i received the message that the number is not in service, i dont hang up, i just enter the number again and it takes it...
i have an issue with my Application Builder Thru Dial block. We are on Call Pilot/App Builder 5.00.41. I have everything set up correctly but when we try to dial by extension, the first attempt fails. i get the following message "That number is not in service. Please try again". i enter the...
