    Tapes haven't been renamed

Ok, it looks like I may have a problem with my database. Is there anyway after I have fixed my database (initialise) that I can get Brighstor to see the real name of the tapes and also the data that is stored on them ?

    Tapes haven't been renamed

Hi, I've had a job that ran over the weekend and is reporting that it backed up 1.4Tb of data. I can read the log and can see that everything seems ok. But, The tapes in the drive haven't been renamed and have kept their previous name (which was erased). Has Brightstor (11.5 by the way) gone...

    Connect to external IP

Does anyone know why it takes so long for Brightstor to connect to an external server (otherside of firewall). I know it has to get through other security features but why on earth is it at least 1 minute when an internal server is 2 seconds ?? Any ideas to try ? Cheers Scott
