Since upgrading from 6.1.2 to 7.2 i have the problem, that some tapes (LTO2) only store ca. 140 GB. Normaly the tapes store betwen 250 and 400 GB.
I dont no why :)

Thanks for the answer. But the problem is a other problem.
Example:
Restore Client A (Windows XP) from Client A --> OK
Restore Clients A from Client B (also Windows XP --> OK
Restore Client A from Backup Server(Windows 2003)--> failed

i have a problem with recover-jobs for my Windows XP SP2 Clients.
I can't start the recover-job from my Legato-Backup Server (W2k03), recovering is only possible from thge client himself.
is there a patch or a known solution?

The problem is:
the cloning failed, because read error (CRC) from the tape, wich have the save sets!
Hmm, Networker write on the tape an cannot read?? HELP :)

I think it is alwayse by cloning, where a relabilng is necessary. I am today by the customer. i will do some tests an then post it here. In hope for help ;)

Come i to the same result, when i install the networker software new - stop the nw-services - and copy the old nsr direction over the new (overwriting) and then start the nw-services ??

i want to move my legato 6.2 server from my windows 2000 server to a new server (new hardware) with windows 2003. Is it enough to copy thr nsr directory? And when i use the mmrecover procedure, is then also recovered the configuration -> like clients and there properties?
