    System Event Log

    No, the log is set to overwrite itself as is the application log - a reboot has fixed it - I was just wondering if anyone has seen this before. I have installed a post sp6 hotfix about a month ago which may have caused it although I'm unsure why. Thanks anyway Simon.

    I have'nt recorded any events in my system event log since 21st of December which I find very odd!! This is on a proxy server (NT4) that is occasionally crashing but hasn't needed a reboot for a while. I know a reboot will probably fix it but I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem...

    Glen, I blocked uk* as 12 of my local servers are named ukXXXXXX. I set the uk* hostname in the proxy exclusion list but accidently blocked out access to sites like www.yahoo.co.uk as it redirects to uk.yahoo.com and is seen as local by the browser.
