I am using FSO for file handling. There is no other process running which takes large amount of time. But I created a new exe and that seems to run faster in the same machine with XP. But in another XP machine it still takes about 6.5 min(faster though). So I am not sure what exactly is going...

Thanks for the reply. The processors and RAM are comparable. I know it is strange to have this much difference. But don't know why this is happening... I am still researching.. If anyone have more suggestions or anything please let me know. Thanks Susan
