I've got a user who has downloaded an add-in for Word 2003. The commands on the add in include keyboard shortcuts. One of the shortcuts is Alt+W.
Now the more astute will realise that Alt+W tends to open the Window menu from the Menu Bar.
Is there any way of changing the menu bar...

apologies, looking at that its a poor post. can't get on users pc at present to get error.
as far as macro settings are concerned i have set them to
enable all macros and set 'trust access to the vba [project model'. i have added the location to the trusted locations also

Have a user who is opening workbooks created in 2003 and macros are not working (message about security etc). have set macro security to run all and set trusts to be ok but still an issue

is it the same remote location every time or various ?
do you notice any other connection issues at that office if its the same one ?

some nasty pieces of software will do this very well - call your local spyware/malware kid !!!!!!
but seriously - what are you trying to achieve with this, is it a home pc etc

second the ip in web browser, often find them to be network devices/printers etc
have you checked dhcp server for them, reserved/otherwise ?
