Here you go! I found this while searching for a way to have finished tasks automatically deleted from Outlook.

We have one user (domain of around 200+ users) using Office 2003 that is having two problems: 1) when she accepts meeting requests the item does not move into her Calendar. 2) when she tries to cancel meetings that have several attendees the meeting does not get removed from the other invited...
Right-click the folder, click Properties, click on AutoArchive tab, then click the appropriate radio buttons and set the time frame and frequency if you want it done automatically.
I have found that most users, when using the File>Archive method tend to forget to make the choice between using...
Thanks ktechit for the help! I wonder, though, whether doing that will make the folder available through the drop-down menu? I suppose I will have to try it.
Next week, after Christmas, should be slow...hopefully get to it then.
I am looking for a registry hack on the Open Other User’s Folder function in Outlook. My user needs to access the SENT ITEMS folder of her supervisor, but the default folders that are available are only Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, Journal, Notes, Tasks.
Does anyone know how to alter this...
Not sure what your problem actually is...does this behavior bother you? It is standard for XP.
If you want to open the file with another program, the way to reassociate that file type is to right-click on the file and click Open With, click Choose Program, and choose your graphics or photo...
There is also a thing called "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" in XP. Go to Start button > Help and Support > search for files and settings...you'll find it.
Oh, I should also say that if any shortcut is used besides the quick launch the machine will immediately freeze up and force a reboot. This does not apply to double-clicking the main executable, however, ONLY shortcuts.
We have one machine on a network (single domain) that will NOT launch Excel shortcuts from any location other than the Quick Launch. We tried copying the quick launch shortcut to other locations but it doesn't want to work. Double-clicking the program's executable works fine, and the quick...
What does "go to open another folder" mean? Can you please be a bit more specific with your directions? I'm afraid I don't quite understand your post. All our archives are set to store on a data server that is separate from the Exchange server, and we do not allow local data stores.
Thanks!
This is a wierd one. We are on Exchange Server 2003, and this machine is running Outlook 2002, networked on a domain. The archives are kept on a different network server. If you browse to the folder on the data server you can see the file and it's size shows at 106MB. When you try to open the...
Diancecht, I have tried your registry suggestion, but no success. Any further suggestions?
BTW Bourbaki, yes I have taken those steps too.
I am trying desperately to avoid a reinstall of xp as I have some software that may not respond well to the SP2 being laid over the top. Initially this...
Ummm....I just thought I should say that the above suggestion reflects no understanding of the question. I don't need a test page. I need the computer to print to this printer.
That said we discovered that it will in fact print any normal document, but for some reason will not print a test...
Anybody out there know how to control the folder view settings in the registry? I cannot get XP to remember my folder views. Every single time I open any folder the view reverts to the system defaults. In fact I also notice that the window size and placements are never remembered by the system...
HP4200dtn is networked and printing under XP Pro in Word/Wordpad. But for some reason it will not print a test page! We wanted to check for corruption in the Test Page file but we don't know where to look or the filename. Anyone out there know where to go for this?
This problem seems to be...
