I have just loaded Photopaint 8 on a new IBM thinkpad and most of the program works. However, when I select an area with a mask...cut it...paste it...and try to rotate the new object...I get the error message.

Then the big red and white X.....and the message...
We use PhotoPaint 7 and have found that sometimes we have to SAVE a jpg and then re-open it before it will allow a few of the tools to be used. I don't know what it is.
Perhaps Win XP is a little too advanced for poor old Corel 7.

If you create a circle (for example) and use the "fit text to path" option, don't forget to click outside the object you're working on and then select the circle and delete it. The text will stay and will remain in the shape of the circle.
