    This may help... When booting up tap F8 to get into safe mode, then do start -> run -> dxdiag. Under the "More Help" tab click on override. Put in something low, like "60" If you can't get into safemode, boot off the Win2000 Cd and choose the repair option, then choose to do a Fast Repair...
