    Make sure you have remote desktop turned on, on the machine you want to connect to..... Start -> Control panel -> Performance & Maintenence -> System properties -> Remote Desktop (?) (at work right now). checkmark the remote desktop option.

    Actually the programs / games are installed on a FAT32 partition (Sorry, should have mentioned earlier). I'm guessing then that either something is being written to the C:\ (which is NTFS) and I need to figure out what... or it could be a registry permission issue?

When I log in as a non-admin user (poweruser,user, etc.) and try to use the program, the program says it's not installed and I have to install it.
