    Thanks micker777. I dumped windows Me and installed Xp. Card and drivers then installed fine. It's good to game!!

    smaxted, Did you ever find a solution to your problem? I installed a GeForce3 5700 today and experienced the same problems. Microsoft couldn't help and the vendor(MSI) hasn't responded to me yet. "Code 12" seems to be very elusive. Thanks
