Both issues are solved with the shared CP. So you need to be on 11.1 FP1 SP1 before applying this cp.
We deployed the CP today and in fact, it does solve the problems for J-series & Workplace.

Just to let you know, we experience this as well. We have been playing with codec today and for us, selecting ulaw for remote extensions makes a big improvement. Ofcourse it's not ok at all.
We will raise a ticket today.
We had this issue as well this week (IP406V2). Downgraded to 5.0.15 and it's working fine again.
5.0.18 on a 412 is running without problems (so far...)
CallReporter can.....but reports are only in dutch at this moment.
check out callreporter dot nl to get an impression (>> rapport overzicht).
all is based on plain SMDR files.

There is a special build for this issue, created per my request. The build nr is 4.2(172202). We had the same problem with Voiceworks (and Asterisk).
It's kind of a long story but the bottom line is a 'bug' in the sip messaging, specifically Cseq numbers which should be incremented in...
there is a special build for this problem 4.2(112001) You can than add in the nouser a special command "VMAIL_WAIT_DURATION=100" 100 is in msec.
may be this special cmd also works in the latest release, haven't tried it.

Is is possible to get the status of a VM Pro userd defined variable visible on a DSS key? We often make exception rules in VMPro which can be activated by a shortcode. We would like to see it's actual status on a DSS key.....
Any ideas?

I have one site running with app. 30 1608. They work great and customer is really happy with the phones. They worked also with the 5610 before, but they abs. prefer the 1608.
