Thank you all for your help and ideas. The problem ended up being just corrupt fonts. So we reinstalled the fonts on the machine and it seems to have taken care of the problem.

Yes it still happens if we change fonts. I am not sure if it is an office problem or not. I am not a mac person but I try to help our mac users as much as I can. We have it narrowed to down to something on her machine because she is the only one with the problem so I am not sure what our next...

I have a computer that I need to reformat and upgrade from windows NT to Windows xp pro. My problem is that whoever set up the pc the first time partitioned the hard drive into a 2 gig and a 10 gig partition installing everything on the 2 gig side of the partition, wich seems like a waste to me...
