I've managed to install XP Pro into a striped RAID array (2 seagates 80GB) using integrated controllers on an Asus A7N8X Deluxe as part of a motherboard upgrade. But..., I did so with a bootable W98 IDE spinning on drive C, and now I can't boot XP unless I have that W98 disk active...
The installation routine complains that a "Windows for Workgroup" driver cannot be found, yet if I follow the directions given, I am unsuccessful. Obviously I'm living in the past; the fellow who wrote the installation routine couldn't have known how to anticipate waking up in an XP...
