Good afternoon Mextera and CDRMAN,
Site 1 is a 2000IPS.
Site 2 is a 2000IVS.
Site 3 is a 2000IVS.
Site 4 is a 2000IVS2.
Can I check the revision of the SC00 card through MATWorX dialed into Sites 3 & 4? Because they are 1 and 2 hours from here (Site 2).
Site 1= (Central Billing Facility)
Site 2=Local Office, T1 to Site 1
Site 3=Local Office, T1 to Site 2
Site 4=Local Office, T1 to Site 2
I can see outside 10 digit calls on Sites 1 and 2 through SMDR, however, I can not see 10 digit calls being placed from Sites 3 and 4, any Ideas?
Dumb question from a relative newbie: Does CMD08>141> “Recording Station to Station calls automatically” mean Station to Station calls on the same switch will be sent to SMDR? Or by “Recording” do they mean something other than SMDR? Thanks Guys
Good Morning,
What commands on a 2000IVS2 Local Office would cause our Central Office (AIMWorX) to only see 4 digit office to office calls from that site and not outside 10 digit calls?
FYI: This site connects to another of our 2000IVS2 sites through a T1 and CCIS first.
Thank You
On one site that’s T1'd to another site, then T1'd to our ADMIN (Central, main)site, I can only see direct 4 digit dialing to our other sites, how do I make it so that I can see external calls i.e. (800)555-1234 placed from that site?
Thanks
Good Morning,
We have five 2000IVS (Local Office), two 2000IVS2 Local Office), and one 2000IPS (Central Office, Admin switch).
SETUP OF OFFICES
-Admin’s 2000IPS has four T1’s connected to Local offices.
-One of those four Offices is connected to another Office through a second T1...
Now they tell me *1 works but, they used to use the (Pick) softkey and it did the same thing as (*1). With the IPS upgrade however, they must press (Pick) then dial the ringing extension... darn lazy employees! hehe
Gary is there any way to edit the (Pick) softkey to make it act similar to...
Thanks Greg, they had Busy and No Answer both programed for their virtual number. I changed the no answer on the prime line to Voicemail and it works perfect! Thanks again Greg
Good Morning Gary,
Thanks Gary, I checked and everything is correct in CMD160. I think it's the (*1) code that's lost. Before they could pickup their phone and just press (*1) and they'd get the ringing line. Now they have to press soft key (Pick) then dial the ringing extension. Does this...
Good Morning,
We currently upgraded our 2000IVS processor to IPS. NEC tech converted the programming and installed the upgrade.
Before the upgrade we had a call pickup group setup for 5 phones, all they had to do was pick up one of those phones and press (*1) to grab the ringing phone, now...
Good Morning,
I have a 2000IVS and only on one phone does it seem to ring too many times before going to Voicemail. If we had this problem on all phones I'd at least know where to begin looking. Any Ideas?
Thanks
Rob
Two of our 2000IVS’s run CCIS through split (Data/Voice) T1’s that are attached to a local 2000IVS. Because of the cost per distance we had to split these T1’s and are using only the first 8 channels of the T1 for voice. NECBNS set these two sites up a couple years ago and now I’m trying to...
I checked CMD001>82>,102,122,142 to make sure the format was set to 2400 (i.e. #3) in all relevant channels, which they were already correctly set. I really think the key is that instead of one line of data (i.e. from Ext. to Ext./Phone #) I'm getting two lines which look like the first line is...
Still can't get two of our 2000IVS to send SMDR through CCIS like the others. I see the activity of the number called correctly however, not the Extension that is placing the call. I just see random numbers where other PBX's show the correct extension number. Help!
I've compared these...
I had an AP00-A card inside one of our 2000IVS PBX’s go bad. I took an identical card from one of our other buildings 2000IVS. That building is T1’d straight to our main (ADMIN) 2000IVS PBX through CCIS. The PBX that I placed the good card in has two other 2000IVS’s, each T1'd to it first...
Is there any way in MATWorX Studio or Moc to look at a 2000IVS and find already programmed Extensions that are not being used due to many moves and personnel changes over the years?
I know you can do this at the PBX by looking at the line cards for solid red lights however, I have 18 buildings...
That's the first thing I checked when I got back, thank you Doug. I think you helped me a while ago with the E6YY command which has saved me many a trips!!
I didn't know that forwarding back through CCIS could have that affect, thanks for that info Doug.
Thank you for the reply Fixin! However, I just got back from that building after I figured out what it was. Those two phones had call forward all activated somehow. All I did was enter the access code #6 and the display read cancel and they were good to go.
I still don't understand if it was...
