I've found a fix for my prob, and have now got the CDRW installed My PC was running in DOS compatability Mode which, amongst other things prevents the protected -mode drivers from initialising when Windows starts. Hi, Thanks for your help, in answer to questions: 1. I'm using Win Me 2. No, Windows still can't see the CDR with the CDRW disconnected. I have tried each device seperatly but neither of them show in windows. Cheers Terry- notaclu

Hi, Hope some one can help with this, I wwant to install a CD RW into my 333Mhz machine, the Bios can detect both the CD RW and the CD R, but I can't see them in Windows (Me). I have checked all the usual stuff jumpers, master, slave, and the ribbon cables and they all seem ok They are not...- notaclu
