    Thanks Dublin73! that's a very detailed answer. do you know if the AD roles (replication master, global catalog etc) can be stored on both servers? wouldn't it cause slow response for users to log in? should i use roaming profiles? thanks again!

    It could be PTR record. the destination server checks if your source IP has PTR record (DNS-reverse lookup). since you probably don't have it you get this error message

    Problem setting up voip behind firewall

    In the Sonic, go to Access > Services. there are 2 options you should play with: Enable SIP Transformations Enable H323Transformations try to check/uncheck them. it also depends on the Sonic Firmware - if it's too old it currupts the packets. the Sonic works fine for me!
