Outlook 97 on Windows XP
I need to chime in here as I am also experiencing the same problem on my XP system with Outlook 97 and the MAPISP32.EXE process hog. Read up on the Microsoft Knowledgebase recommendations, however based upon 'borleymsgs' comment, I suspect MAPI file renaming and re-installation of Outlook 97...- Mecklenberg
