nexVortex can do IP authentication for your traffic if you cannot get digest authentication working. Just submit a request to their support department saying that your digest auth is not working and request IP screening (assuming your public IP is static).
Thanks for the input.
The bathroom is a standard powder room. There is a sink and a toilet. It is on the lower level of a 3-story townhome and there is no bedroom on this floor.
The property is located in Loudoun County, VA if anyone has any idea what the code requirements are for this...
This question is a a bit 'off-topic' relating to wiring closets, but I figure a master electrician must be on here somewhere. I generally get good advice here, so I am going to throw this out there.
I have a powder room that has NO electrical outlets. A home inspector is telling me this is a...
Really? That is unfortunate. Yes, in this case, I am pushing SIP traffic across the PIX, but have traffic coming in on multiple ports of the same IP. I was hoping to be able to combine all of this traffic onto the 5060 port of the internal IP.
There is no way to configure this?
Yes...unfortunately, I am just getting my feet wet with this and am still using the GUI as I try to come up to speed with the CLI. Multiple statics is obviously not going to get it done.
Suggestions?
Is this possible? What is the best way to do it?
Essentially, I have external IP 1.1.1.1 port 100 and external IP 1.1.1.1 port 200 that I need to BOTH translate internally to 192.192.192.192 port 100.
Trying to configure this, I am getting overlap errors. I must be missing something.
I am looking for a couple quick configuration tips for my PIX using PDM 3.0. I have VPN set up, but once behind it, I cannot browse the public internet. I would like to enable this, but am a bit worried about the security risks. Any suggestions or recommendations?
On another front, I had to...
We had an amp put on the cable line leading to my cable modem, and ever since then the connection to the net has been very inconsistent. One minute all of the modem lights will be on, and we will ge getting content and the next only two of the modem lights will be on and we will lose out...
Watch out! It is a free "STANDARD" installation. Apparently, if the installation requires anything more than attaching a dish and drilling a hole from the outside of the house to the inside, you are crossing over into a CUSTOM job.
It's no big deal...honestly, I am not upset. I...
Oh...right...one more thing...I still need my cable for my cable modem. Is it possible to feed both the cable and satellite lines into a multiswitch and a diplexer at the point where they enter the house and then use the existing cabling in the walls to send BOTH signals throughout the house...
This was a free install. Everything was going smashingly until the cables came through the wall from the outside.
Here is a little more info, Daron, that will hopefully be useful. The installation was one dish. I did not put the dish up (it is on top of my 4-story condo) so I don't have any...
I have no idea, but I am guesseing I have the wrong one. How do I tell? I am not using a splitter...two cables come down from the dish...I am connecting them using a double-sided female connector to the existing cabling in the wall.
I just had a dish installed today and can't get my signal to carry through my house. The satellite cables coming into the house from outside replaced the existing cable coax, but no signal is being transmitted through my house to the receivers. I have digital cable, so I don't think it is a...
