    NT > XP Cannot access network layer (USR0046)

    Are you using Windows XP with Service Pack 1? This will cause the error mentioned. Windows XP without the SP gives no problems. If so, the solution is to upgrade to Business Objects 5.1.7 or 5.1.8.
