Hi there
Sounds like there is an issue with network names or ports.
Have you tried to set the new DSN using an IP address?,
Is there a firewall issue, if SQL Server Express running on say XP machine is the firewall open? Allow port 1433 TCP

Hi there
Just happened to be looking for something else in the informix doc but notices a short statement affecting your query.
Says" VALUES Clause
The VALUES clause can specify values to insert into one or more columns.
When you use the VALUES clause, you can insert only one row at a time...

Not sure how to clear the users, the VPNs will come back up if there is traffic to and/or from remote locations or as soon as there is.
You might try CLI from console or telnet. I have one firewall that frequently locks up the GUI.
However, in my case it does come back. My get our of...
If you have he money I would take a look at VMWare. They can do some very clever things for failover without the hassel of migrating data, etc.
Hope this helps

We used PDF995 with Citrix/Win2k and it would periodically print someone elses spooled job so I replaced it with Print2PDF and am very pleased with it. You also get a few useful little features like batch converting files to PDF and command line usage.
In a multi server farm, you pool the...

Hi there
We use thin clients as well - I am pretty sure this will be a config issue. This may have stopped working because of a dns change, firewall change, etc. However, I would start checking what address is set up for the default browser server.
I use both relysis and igel terminals and...
Hi there
Hope this is not too basic but, You mention an ICA connection rather than Application Set.
Just to be sure,
In order to connect to an application set reliably, you often need to specify the defaul server browser address
i.e. Open Citrix Program Neighborhood > Click on Application Set...
Hi tehre
This is usually network issues, The client buffers keystrokes until it can commit them to the server. In this way, a client would see bursts of typing appear on the screen.
If not network issues, what kind of CPU load is the server they are connecting to. Are they writing to network...
Hi tehre
What are the settings in Active Directory set to? THere are settings here to control what print settings a user gets. If this is the case, obviously nothing to do with Citrix.
Else I would have a look at any GPO/Login scripts based on groups, etc.

Yo will have to call Microsoft to get the licence reissued. You will need access to the old licence numbers and number of TS Cals. You can do this on line but sometime easier when you have issues that are not straight forward.
Win2000 & Win2003 are different licences. If the Citrix Server is...
Hi tehre

Hi I am guessing that Meditech is an application you use. It sounds as though the applications you mention are Published Applications and problem of users reporting they are seeing another persons session may be because those users client software has not been configured correctly. I.E. they may...
