Hi, I've got several users that need to connect to a remote VPN. Is there any way to connect with a linux box either with the cisco client or any other way then forward the traffic from the machines to the remote VPN through the linux box?
Thanks
I have a linux mail server at present that allows me via the alis file to set up an address as follows:
production: ian, steve
This forwards all mail to production@domain.com to ian@domain.com and steve@domain.com. Is there a way to do this in Exchange 2003?
Thanks
Update. Just tried another network card exactly the same as the one thats in it. It gets up to Checking for New Hardware then hangs. Not as above enabling swap space. If i take out the network card I have no problem and it boots fine! I think the cards are some sort of RTL8139 chipset and I've...
I installed a server FC3 install, configured up qmail and all was working fine. I put a new network card in and its stopped the machine booting! I get up to Enabling Swap Space [OK] on startup and it just hangs. I know the network card works as I've tested it in our fBSD server. Any ideas?
What you are looking for is called samba. Check out www.samba.org this has all the docs you need. Webmin makes it pretty easy to start out with www.webmin.com

Excellent! thanks! Is this the way most of the ports run? As in they have instructions in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/whatever.sh? I'm still pretty new to fBSD...
thanks! I installed Apache from the ports so its all installed in /usr/local/. Do I just have to put apache2enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf to make it start up or is there something different because its in /usr/local/?

Hi, I'm trying to embed a flash file into a HTML template. This did work when I used Outlook 2003. However on Outlook XP it doesn't seem to want to. Every time I click new message with the stationary set I get a popup box:
Do you want to allow software such as ActiveX controls and plug-ins to...
According to the guys that run the cisco firewall I only need UDP. So I've got my machine at 192.168.2.81. Should the rule above make all UDP traffice from 192.168.2.81 come from 82.100.100.100? because I've tried it and when the connection to the VPN is made it still says its coming from my...
I've got an Exim server on a RH9 box. It has been working fine but I've had to change our IP range for 192.168.0.x to 192.168.2.x. Ever since this change the send/recieve on our outlook clients is running slowly. I've changed the hosts file to reflect the range change but its still slow. any...
So that would map whatever is in $localbet to the range 10.21.3.1 yes? So if i run:
iptables -t nat - A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.2.81 -p udp -j SNAT --to 82.100.100.100
that will make everything from 192.168.2.81 look like its come from 82.100.100.100? obviously with a correct spare external IP...
