1. Go to the protocols tab on the filter dialog
2. You should see a tree of check boxes
3. See if all protocols have been checked
4. If yes, uncheck any protocols you do not want to filter
5. Save the filter and retry the capture.
I think this defect may have been fixed in a subsequent 4.7.5...
Isn't it risky to use the ghost image of a machine with 1 HW specification, on another one that has a different HW specification? Doesn't the OS mis-behave....?
There used to be a product called Protocol Development Kit that allowed users to create their own protocol decodes and plu them into the Sniffer Portable product. I don't know if this is available for Sniffer Distributed.

Sniffer Distributed 4.3 Console is supported on XP. Sniffer Distributed 4.3.5 has XP support for both Ethernet / Gig Agents as well as Consoles.
