Hi,
Does anyone know of a way to gain access through a PC/server onto the networked photocopier above? (I have the IP address) Is this possible? If not, does anyone know where the hard disk is located in the machine (so I can take it out and plug it into a PC myself!!)
I need to try and scan...
Hi All,
Currently using W2K active directory with a number of XP and W2K clients.

Hi,
Don't know if this is any help, but we use a barcode scanner with an ipaq h2210. It's called a 'SOCKET IN-HAND SCAN CARD (ISC)' and it fits into the CF slot.
Hi,
Just set up my first wireless (802.11b) network. Pretty much working fine between 2 wireless PC's and one wireless laptop, with an access point in the middle, and static IP addresses.
Can anyone recommend a wireless print server for my Epson R300 (USB) printer and my HP Laserjet 6P...
Update:
After a really unhelpful conversation with HP, they pointed me in the direction of a ROM update. Once downloaded and installed the ipaq is now a 1.10.07 version ROM. Still no joy with the dialling up to an ISP though! After about 12 attempts at dialling, the machine suddenly...
Thanks Glohamar,
Yes, the modems are identical. In fact I just took a working modem out of one of the 1.10.07's and put it in a 1.00.10 machine. It didn't work!
Do you know if you can upgrade the ROM, like a firmware upgrade?
Hi all,
Don't know whether anyone else has come accross this but...
We have a number of 2210's. Some have ROM Revision 1.00.10, and some have 1.10.07
The 1.10.07's are fine, work perfectly, and are able to dial our ISP without any problems.
The 1.00.10's however, have ann identical set up...
Hi,
We have a w2k server running active directory for around 90 users. When the user saves anything to my docs or windows desktop it copies it to the server when they log off. Fine, no problems.
Then, when they delete that file it will not delete from the server when they log off, and so...

Right. After much fuming and experimentation. Still nothing!!!
Just about ready to bin it and buy a new one (even though this is only 6 months old!) [surprise]
I'm pretty sure I've tried just about everything. I've even worked my way through the FAQ on tek-tips for 'why am i getting no...
Thanks ceh4702 I'll bear that in mind when finishing off the case and thinking about airflow.
The problem is, that I've removed the motherboard and all components and they are sitting on a piece of newspaper with free air flow!!! I just can't understand it.
Nope, the CPU is fanless. Runs at 600 Mhz though, so it's not the fastest pc around, but is silent and very small.
Mini-itx is the small form factor version of ATX:

This mobo has onboard graphics/sound/network and is fanless. I can't actually remember if it has ever beeped on startup (helpful I know!) the is no internal speaker attached, so I guess that it wouldn't anyway!
Hi All,
I have a VIA Epia ME6000 motherboard that was working perfectly two weeks ago. I've built a new case for it and then switched it on with all of the other components (pci card, HD, DVD-ROM etc) attached, nothing! Dead. The power LED does light up though, but there's nothing coming out...
Hi there,
I have a D-Link DWL-510 and cannot get it to talk to a Netgear USB stick.
I too have set up manual Ip's and ad-hoc mode etc.
Did you manage to find a solution to this problem?
Thanks.....
