Hi! Once upon a firmware ago (6.8003 to 6.8202), our 9611G phones would automatically log back in after their extension was logged out of a softphone. It doesn't seem to be working anymore. Now when you log into a softphone with an extension the phone says "Extension in Use # to Register" and...
Hi, Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be related to headsets, handsets are impacted. I'm beginning to wonder if it's a hairpinning issue. For some reason, it's not enabled on this IP-NR, but is on our others. That's just a shot in the dark though as to why it's working elsewhere, just not in...
Hi All,
On a CM6.3 and upgrading phones in prep for upgrade to CM8. One of my sites seems to be having an issue with the upgrade from R6.4014 to R6.8003 on the 9611G. It's not every phone, but it's enough that it's a major issue. Sounds like far end can hear, but no audio on near end. Not...
Hi Kyle, thanks for the response. The phone was in the UK, I was not and it was a holiday, so no one could check. Fortunately, I was able to find a 9611G w/ R6.0 fw in my office today and finally figured out the issue... the fw does not like using the hostname of the HTTP server in the 242...
Hi, Anyone remember how to upgrade a 9611G that's still on R6.0? I just came across 2 new phones that must have been deep in our vendor's warehouse... and they don't even seem to be hitting the HTTP server for upgrades. I'm not sure if they require TFTP and a step up to another old rev before...
Hi,
We're upgrading to CM8 and planning to upgrade our H.323 9611G sets to the latest, 6.8.0. The catch is that we still have a lot of sets at 6.3116 and it seems that there are multiple upgrades required to get to 6.8.0.
6.3116 > 6.4014 > 6.6.1 > 6.8.0
The 6.8.0 file handles both the 6.6.1...
Hi All, Thank you so much for your help!! It took a while, but I think it's working well enough that the group that needs this will be happy. As of now, the only "issue" is that the incoming call on the CM shows the incoming CID as both the # and name. I'm fine with that, unless it's an easy...
Hi, Thanks for your response. Even with an H323 qsig trunk, won't there need to be some routing programmed on the IPO? What do do with calls coming from this trunk?
Thx
Hi, I recently inherited an IPO 4.2 (IPO Manager 9.1.3.0) that hasn't been well maintained for years. I'm well versed in CM and know enough SM to get me in trouble, but IPO is completely foreign to me, so please bear with me...
I have a need to take certain incoming #s to the IPO and send...
Hi All,
We're going to be decommissioning our PNs soon (Yay!!!) and I'm trying to proactively deny registrations to the CLANs and get them on the procr.
We've been using PE across our network for a while now, but still have a bunch of phones in the same IP-NR as the CLANs that continue...
When I do a list trace on the CM it looks like it's sending the name, but not the CPN over the SIP trunk to the SM.
Our private numbering table is set up and the trunk is set to private. I've tried the routing pattern with unk-unk and lev0-pvt as number formats.
Thanks!
I hope I'm overlooking something stupid here!
I have a mixed environment of H.323 and digital phones. We're just starting to test SIP phones, but I'm not all that well versed and having a small issue.
SIP to SIP station - Caller ID is fine on both phones
SIP to IP/Dig Station - Caller ID is...
I actually just found the problem and it was just a small context error. For the Host Map Pattern I was using "^sip:2599", but apparently I should have been using "^sip:2599*". One little wildcard giving me headaches for days!
Thank you for trying to help!
I've pasted the MST below and I think that it confirms my theory that the call is being sent back to the CM instead of being routed to the IVR, which is a Nuance Voice Portal if it matters.
This line concerns me:
Contact: "58262500-2599" <sip:20.20.20.20:6001;transport=tls>
I'm not sure...
Hi All,
I'm just about at my wit's end with this... I have the SIP trunk up between the CM and SES and can pass calls to it (x2599), but when it gets there I think it's being sent back to the CM, which would explain the carrier announcement "the # you have dialed can not be reached at this...
I'd love to, but.... Too many phones, not enough time. Most of them are at remote locations where there is no dedicated IT staff and management prefers that someone is on-site when upgrades occur to ensure there are no issues. And we've had issues in the past, such as the phones look good, but...
Hi, I know that Avaya would probably not approve of this, but....
Is there a way to write an if/then statement into the 96x1Hupgrade.txt file? Something like this or maybe in another area?
