    that sounds good- but i'm inexperienced in Distiller; do I need to save the excel files in a different format to run them through Distiller properly? when I run through the xls file it dumps the job. thanks for your help matt

    hi- I have been linking to an excel spreadsheet in PM7 and found that when I update the link in PM7 (after changing a product number or description in excel), all the formatting to the linked info is lost. Is there any way to help this? thanks matt

    OK, clarification- I need the records to sequence into the document top to bottom so instead of: 1,2,3,4, 5,6,7,8, i would like 1,5,9 2,6,10, 3,7,11, 4,8,12 Thanks for the help matt

    hello all- my problem is this: i am assembling a catalog, using the data merge function in PM7. now, when i merge records, the newly made records are dropped in horizontally left to right. i need to drop them in vertically. is this possible? any advice appreciated matt
